"A Catch-22, coined by Joseph Heller in his novel Catch-22,
is a paradox in rules, regulations, procedures, or situations in which
one has knowledge of being or becoming a victim but has no control over
it occurring."

With the paladins nice ability if he gets blocked, and his nicer one if he isnt, then couple it with the ascension for the ultimate in catch 22....damned if you do, damned if you dont.

But you come out just fine with a kill spell in like five turns

Couldn't you just use any powerful creature with trample, and a card that lets you discard (compulsion would be my suggestion)

it's to slow to be really useful
and it cost you a card a turn

im currently using the combo in  a living death deck so it doesnt really bother me. and yes, there are other ways to pull it off, but i just find this one enjoyable since everyone i have played against with it hate it.  not because its ZOMGAMAZING but because its annoying as hell.
