Sorry i don't understand what you are trying to do.  what you have going is multiple copies of your counterspell, which are redunant after the 1st one resolves

if you play the djinn then rest untap all land play counter reset counter ect

how can they not play anything?  They play a spell, you counter it (no point of replicating it unless you are worried they can counter your counter) the counter resolves, orginal spell fizzles.  then they play another and your out of counterspells.

If you want to lock them there are other options, such as flipped erayo and arcane laboratory

If you were to change the counterspell to something like.... brain freeze then there'd be some massive milling but as of now this combo doesn't work.

A combo with a a card that costs 7 takes to long
