First let your opponent attack, then use fog to keep most of those creatures tapped. On your next turn attack with taunting elf (to have all remaining creatures block) then your beastly doomgapes, krosan collosuses, and cloudscrapers get through to your opponent

Instead of fog use Tangle.

yeah i was thinking tangle, but a taunting elf and fog combo is cheaper

Cheaper in convertied mana cost and in financial cost yes. But if its the money part just do as I do and structure and plan the deck to work out the expencsive way and then just save and trade till you get to the goal.

Took me nearly 6 months to piece together my red burn legacy deck for example. More saving than trading unfortunately.

The majority of players will see a Taunting Elf and a whole bunch of beasties as a potential threat and just might, if they hadn't countered them, play a Wrath to restart, or just burn the Taunting Elf.

Try Sneak Attack to get the beasties out quick-like.
