this does not work because pandemonium is a "comes into play" effect, and the tainted strike would require a target that is in play already

however, you can have 2 pandemoniums and then play tresserhorn for the kill... or a phyrexian dreadnought (assuming you have at least one other creature with power 2 or more out)

actually Draco this works fine. Pandemonium has a trigger ability as defined by the word "Whenever",

In other words Pandemoniums ability does not go on the stack until tresserhorn is on the field. Since you maintain priority after you play a spell and tainted stirke is an instant, you can play the strike before Pandemoniums ability resolves. Tresserhorn is in play at this point so a legal target for the strike, it gets +1/+1 and infect. at that point the pandemonium trigger resolves, it sees that tresserhorn is a 11/5 and 11 damage is dealt by tresserhorn, which has infect so is dealth as 11 poison counters.
