First use Devoted Druid and Quillspike for infinity mana, then use Topan Ascetic abillity to tap Gilder Bairn to double counters on any thing then do it again and again...(this works on planeswalkers too because they use loalty counters). Useing a forgoten anchient would be nice too.

The only thing that it won't do that proliferate does is increase the number of poison counters on a player.

How are you getting infinte mana? You get the one green mana from Devoted Druid, then you put a        -1/-1 counter to untap it. You then use the one green mana on Quillspike's ability to remove the counter from the druid and you boost quillspike for +3/+3 until end of turn.

You're getting an infinite one green mana, yes, but you're not producing any floating mana at all.

Quill spike and devote druid don't form infinite mana. . .
