Necro = Necrotic Ooze

201.4b If an ability of an object refers to that object by name, and an object with a different name gains that ability, all instances of the first name in the gained ability should be treated as the second name.

With Quillspike and Devoted Druid in the graveyard one can generate infinite mana of any color and pump up Necro.

With Viridian Joiner and Pili-Pala in the graveyard one can generate infinite mana in sets of 3 (2 green and 1 of any color).

Fauna Shaman can help with the tutoring and dunking in the graveyard.

EDIT: Whoops...the Quillspike/ Devoted Druid combo ONLY boosts Necro.

But this boost can subsequently be used if Viridian Joiner is in the graveyard as well.

EDIT 2: Now I remember....not Quillspike....but Morselhoarder.

wait a minute, with the druid and the quillspike, aren't you just making the necro have infinite +3/+3, not infinite mana because your using that generated mana to put +3/+3

he can generate infinite mana with the druid/quillspike. the quillspike abilty adds +3/+3, but you only have to put a -1/-1 counter on it to untap. therefore use the abilty to pump to something ridiculous and then load up on -1/-1 counters. only drawbacks are the creatures eventual death and the fact that the mana is green.

all in all there are easier ways but i do like this combo.
