Am I missing something here? I believe you would need some extra blue mana to start this off.

Here's a much simpler way:

I would rather keep the creature in case of holy day or something. The kiki is faster though.

Well, you can use this combo as many times as you want whenever you want, so Holy Day is irrelevent.

I get it. I guess it just matters how much you want to spend.

i agree as well, when I see a person playing RU and they drop kiki i expect the alarm to follow, certain combos become common, which makes things predictable.   while there are easier ways to reproduce the same effect, combos like this take the opponent by suprise and leaves them going "what the fuck just happened".  Frankly I feel that ending is worth the price of taking the longer route.  But Shakii is right, assuming you play with the same group of people, its a one hit wonder, if your group is anything like mine, when you have some elements of this on the table you become public enemy number 1, even if  those elements might have nothing to do with this combo, they woun;t take the risk.  i can't play myr anymore because of this, as soon as I drop a myr, even in an infect deck, all I here is "he's playing myr" followed by everyone else at the table going "kill him"

But anyway cool combo

Exactly... in my group, i'm know to be the guy who plays a combo deck... most of my decks has combos... before the start of a game i'm the primary target of everyone... especially with a deck with quick combos...
