And very simple to use this combo!!
First played on the Deep-Sea Kraken suspended with 9 counters which are then transferred to the Aeon Chronicler through Fate Transfer

I think this doesn't work, because both creatures are exiled.

you are correct, they are not in the battlefield while they are suspended fate transfer doesn't work
