Works only with creatures that arent going back into your library when they are sent to your graveyard.
Emrakul never goes to the graveyard?

This works, Emrakul's ability triggers when it gets put into the graveyard. So you can use this in response to get it into play before it shuffles. I keep 4 exirpates in my mill deck for cards like Emrakul.
