The actual combo is blood funnel and guile, brain freeze/thief of hope are in there as examples of what I feel are the best examples abusing the combo-mainly storm and spiritcraft.

Basically play a non-crature spell for 2 less, when blood funnel triggers choose not to sack a creature, the spell is then countered which triggers guile, you can then replay the spell for free, which in turn triggers the funnel repeating the process.

In the case of spiritcraft the thiefs ability triggers each time you play the arcane spell, while for storm each time you play it 1 additional copy is created and since the copies aren't affected by blood funnel have fun.
