You only really need Geth's grimoire, Dream Halls, and Painter's Savant.

1. Get painters Servant in play and choose favorite color. The Color doesn't really matter but i Usually choose blue for force of will and a few other cards.

2. Put dream Halls into play.

3. Since painter's servant makes all cards in your hand at least share a color; you can now discard a card to put geth's grimoire into play. I usually discard a land.

Now you can cast any card by discarding any card in your hand. Unfortunately, so can your opponents. If they do, however, you can draw with geth's grimiore. Even if you counter their spell you can draw since they had to discard as part of the casting cost. Add some of those high casting cost new time twisters and get your cards back.

I added land tax and Crucible to get more land and get extra use from the lands i discard. Have real fun by adding some of those madness cards!!!


P.s. IMO; Painter's servant is the most overpowered under rated and under used card in the game. Every time i see it hit the table i know something bad is going to happen thats going to take me 1/2hr to understand.

It isn't really underrated, considering it's used a lot with Iona and Grindstone. Both of these aren't confusing though and shouldn't take half an hour to understand. . .
