It was an idea about what could be in the future. That was why the called the block future sight. It was to powerful with some of the enchantments out there. Good call in not mass producing it.

It's still a possibility, at least in some form.  They have done color matter blocks, creature matters, artifact blocks 3 times, snow blocks, even land matters blocks, but one type of block they have never done is an enchantment based one.  Its only a matter of time before that comes around

Conscription will be far away from standard or extended when that ever happens. imagin what enchanted evening will be capable of.

urza saga block was very much enchantment based, it had the "sleeping" cards and i actually built my favorite deck using mostly enchantment and only 4 sylvanian libraries were not from the urza block.  still even have the deck today over 10 yrs later. 

but your are right its not overly enchantment based like other card type blocks have been.
