Get both in play, equip the Quietus Spike to something and attack ftw.

Wouldn't the second attack only hit them for half their life again because at the time of the second strike the first would already have dealt damage so the seconds power adjusts to deal only half of the remaining life

Its not copying the ability just the number. So if they had 20 life they get hit for 10, the enchantment will do 10 again not half.
