Use a pestilence to damage everything placing a token on the battlefield. Use the one black from the Carnival to pestilence again and again. You gain the  life from the leyline so you dont die from the carnival.

Pay life and life loss is not prevented by urza's armor. Only damage is prevented.

I get it now. The life gain counters the life loss. Just don't get hit by sitgma lasher, or have wound reflection on the field.

this is a nice combo :) add a sacrifice engine to it to really make it work (ashnods altar, altar of dimentia with something to give th hydra +1/+0 or more, or other ones to add mana or +1 counters etc... )

How would that help Draco? The Hydra has defender. Also the combo is a game winner so I dont really need a sac engine because of the pestilence however getting more mana from an altar would be benificial.
