Also, don't you have to spend the mana you get from the altar to get the trator back?

no you don't need 2. see table before. the myrs leave the graveyards due to the fact they are tokens.

no, this works.
You have the Chamber and the Alter in play. Play the Traitor. You now have a token and the Traitor. Sac the Traitor for a black. Then sac the token for any color. Use the black to put the Traitor into play. That causes the Chamber to trigger. You are back to where you started but with one mana of any color. Repeat for infinite mana of any color.

Well, if you have 2 traitors, it is infinite creatures, which is what I thought that it originally was.
