this was meant to stimulate the mind... i've had a deck run these in it...

by themselves they wont win, but you build the deck around the 2 cards and you are going to win for sure

if the deck is based around the cards, stuff like doomblade is useless

Just because you build a deck around a combo doesn't mean its a sure win. Every color has options to break combos such as this its impossible to plan for them all. Its not only the creature you nned to protect but the enchantment as well since this is worthless without it. A simple naturalize would kill it or doj. Not to mention there is the problem of have to draw and play the combo which means thyoull be playing draws tuters mana excelletc... all of which equal less cards to protectt your combo. And frankly decks that are based around a combo are usually not very effective without that combo.
No definitly not a sure win
