that's discard 5... every turn...

Wait! Let me count that again:

Tap Cinderhaze: discard 1... That's 1
put a -1/-1: untap cinderhaze
tap power conduit, remove -1/-1, put +1/+1.
Tap Cinderhaze: discard 1... That's 2
put a -1/-1: untap cinderhaze, which also cancels the +1/+1 counter on cinderhaze
Tap Cinderhaze: discard 1... That's 3
put a -1/-1: untap cinderhaze
tap Aphetto alchemist to untap power conduit...
Tap Cinderhaze: discard 1... That's 4
put a -1/-1: untap cinderhaze
tap power conduit, remove -1/-1, put +1/+1.
Tap Cinderhaze: discard 1... That's 5
put a -1/-1: untap cinderhaze which also cancels the +1/+1
then finally tap cinderhaze for the final discard... That's 6


So it was 6! That's almost 1 hand!!!
