When you have 9 mana and Whispersilk Cloak out, play: Platinum Angel + Equip W.C.; or Darksteel Forge. Next turn, play the other option. The conclusion? A shrouded, indestructible Platinum Angel, with all parts of the combo protected from death by Darksteel Forge!

Colorless artifact deck

Play with the best mana lands: Cloudpost, Urzatrons, and Vesuva. No more need to worry

Add in for measure either:

#1 Play Metalworker and voltaic construct with two articacts in hand. Infinite mana

#2 Play Pentavus, Gilded Lotus, and Dross scorpion. Infinite mana.

infinite mana #1 with thought dissector Mill an opponent for their entire deck or for part and gain an artifact.

Infinite mana #2 with tower of murmurs Mill everyone in a multi player group for their entire deck.

#2 has a lot more possibilities to construct around. With Option #2 and playing P. Angel and darksteel forge you can and i have pulled it off on turn 4.

The Darksteel Forge won't protect it from Hallowed Burial and Evacuation.

Sorry. I know there are many holes in this, but I am suggesting a way of having a well protected Platinum Angel. Those cards, like Evacuation or Hallowed Burial, hopefully do not pop up enough to destroy this combo. Also, with those cards, if you manage to get P.A. again, you can restart the combo.
