Just 2 colors, and it can deal more damage if you pay 1 blue than the original. Thornbite staff lets you kill each of there creatures that has less than 3 toughness. You can replace the brimstone mage with Bloodshot Trainee and Giant Strength.

You know. I really hate that guy. He made a combo that sucks and doesn't work, yet it made it on the top combos list.

I never said that the title was incorrect. It just doesn't deserve to be one of the most viewed combos. Imagine if there was a combo that was Abyssal Persecutor and a Platinum Angel that was called Everlasting Turns.

At least this can be infinite life if you have an infinite mana combo that can produce blue.

Here's a better way to put it:

Basilisk Collar on any creature
Thornbite on the same
You gain life for every creature on the field you destroy form tapping the creature with the staff and collar on it. I guess the Freed from the real is just an extra thing to deal more damage (Especially with the Brimstone Mage).

It's like adding Basilisk Collar to that goblin that has the same effect as the staff, or having Deathbringer Thoctar with the collar as well.
