Plague Spitter deals 1 damage to all creatures and players each upkeep. Equip with Basilisk Collar to kill all creatures (and gain life in the process), and equip Magebane Armor to protect the Spitter from damaging and killing itself.

You could upgrade the combo by replacing magebane armor with light of sanction. It becomes a plague wind each upkeep.

That's pretty sweet. I was trying to keep it mono-black, but that's tempting...

Souls of the faultless would work if you didn't use the collar, and it is a good WB defense card. Check ravnica for some cards that would make a truly brutal deck. Debtors Knell is another great one. You don't care if they kill something cause you can just bring it back.

this would only work once. it deals damage to each creature which includes itself, with deathtouch that would just kill itself.

Except magebane armour prevents non combat damage to the spitter including is own
