Tainted Strike, Distortion Smite
I have a queston; does the force survives until end of turn when you cast it without playing growth?

The Force dies as a STB of having 0 toughness. Giant Growth wouldn't keep it alive.

Here is the official ruling:



"Yes,
Force of Savagery has 0 toughness. It will be put into its owner's
graveyard as a state-based action immediately upon entering the
battlefield unless an effect puts it onto the battlefield with a
counter on it (such as Chorus of the Conclave would) or a static
ability boosts its toughness (such as Glorious Anthem would). A
triggered or activated ability that boosts toughness won't have its
effect fast enough to save it."

Oran-Rief would save it. Good idea!

sorry, Oran-rief will not save it.  As the rule turbine listed points out activated abilitys do not occur fast enough.  you need something that either gives it a counter as it comes into play (not when it comes into play, that will be to late) or something that gives an increase as a static effect such as gloroius anthem, gaeas anthem, soulstoke

Sorry, I read Ora-Rief as "Put a +1/+1 counter on each green creature that enters the battlefield this turn".
