Only one thing, and it has to be non creature. This leaves early land destruction or enchantment/ artifact.

Does the ability activate when it initially comes into play AND when it is returned to play after it comes back from persist?

yup... the triggered ability, triggers when it enters the battlefield from flash and persist...

Mighty emergence down and a sac engine makes this a kill all land, enchantment, planeswalker, and artifact and have a 8/8 combo.
