use the gnomes to make the prince colorless, then cast all is dust. either you take all they got at  no cost or they pick and choose at the cost of life

It that betrays works just as well, and it doesn't even need to be made colorless.

personally I prefer the prince making the opponenet  choose between giving you their permanents or their life is just plan juicy

the gnomes refer the colors of magic as well as connect a pentagram so to speak.
