    Enchant the tree, pay for it's ability, attack and start shuffling because it's time for the next game!  Even if you don't take out your opponent in one turn, the treefolk lives for next turn since you redirected the damage.

You do of course assume your opponent has 20 powers worth creatures to block with, and doesn't just use something like a Wall of Denial while they attack with their flying brigade.

Not a terrible combo, but not a game winner sadly :)

The 3 colors are on 1 card though. It doesn't make it better, but id does keep it reasonable. If you can make him a flag barer then it gets more fun since spells have to target him to.

    The lure makes them block with what ever they have available, not just a wall.  You don't have to attack with anything else, leaving plenty of defense.  If they don't have anything else available to block with it means they are wide open anyway.  Like I said you can keep doing it every turn because the combat damage never hits the tree.

     It is a game winner, it's won many games for me.  In multiplayer you can attack one player and direct the damage to another, it's pretty versatile.

Just curious... because the combat damage done to the treefolk is simultaneous, will it take only one activation even though it comes from multiple sources?

It also lets all your other creatures through. Because they have to block the tree they can't block anything else. The exception is if they have something that can block more than one creature.

Wow, Hold the line, is a great idea, thanks.  I currently play this combo in the same deck that i play ""Defensive Devistation,"a combo that I posted a while back.  The deck works really well, it's really good in multiplayer games.

Thats wierd Defensive Devistation doesn't show up in the search engine, but it's there if you look up righteousness.  Check it out, it's a great defensive combo!
