The deck has no spells with converted mana cost less than 3 other than hypergenesis, so Violent Outburst, Ardent Plea, and Demonic Dread always cascade into hypergenesis. (if you cascade into a card without a mana cost, it can still be cast normally) Simian Spirit Guide and Gemstone Caverns help to let the deck go off 1st or 2nd turn. Wound Reflection interacts with Magister Sphinx for a 1st-turn 20 life loss. The rest of the deck is full of big fast creatures like Hellkite Overlord and Akroma.

Um...two things.

1: The Magister Sphinx doesn't cause life loss. It modifies a life total.

2: There are way too many cards in this combo for it to work.

Yes! but when you take 10 from 20 that leaves you 10 and the game will check to see if your life total has changed, when it does, it will see that you have lost 10 life.

The combo is hypergenisis and one of the 3 casting cascade cards, the rest of the cards are used for acceling into the combo or what can be put out once the combo hits
