If Spellbinder were to copy a spell on the stack you would be correct. However, Spellbinder casts a copy of the imprinted spell, meaning that Mirari can work for this.

This combo does work.

There are two cards! This works on turn 6! Play a Boros Swiftblade for twenty damage on turn 4.
