1 Blowfly infestation and 2 flourishing defenses and serrated arrows (or any other -1/-1 counter producer) is all you need. Just kill one of the two token elves with blowfly's -1/-1 to get 2. Infinite elves.

you can give it the counter to the wall and it would live.  you need a way to stop the blowfly since it is not a "may " if not stopped it will draw the game

no the purple was used to show that wall of roots was one of time spirals "timeshifted" cards, ie it was also used in a previous set, serrated arrows and browbeat are other ones.
