OK, I get the adding counters to Phantom Warrior using the Vat to make it bigger, more unblockable damage etc.
What's the purpose of Kraj in this combo? It only copies Activated Abilities... I guess it could add more counters but seems an odd choice for it. |

Evo Vat the Phantom Warrior.
The Warrior has the double effect as well as a +1/+1
Kraj has the doubling ability now.
Tap Kraj add another counter to Phantom Warrior. (2, +1/+1)
Double with Kraj, double with Phantom. (4 then 8).
That's all I can tell from it.

its for heavy hits in a few turns But it hurts when you can't block monsters that keeps doubling

You don't need Kraj at all to double the counters twice, you can keep playing the ability on Phantom Warrior as often as you like, so long as you have the mana. All Kraj does is give you an extra +1/+1 counter, which could be achieved with Doubling Season for less mana (and a greater effect when using the Vat's granted ability). |

A super phantom warrior is good. Work on using efficent ways to do your ideas. For exampele
 
you get unblockable and a large creature with the vat.

Krag puts a counter on it and it is repeatable which makes it better then thrive. Though it is not necessary for this combo |
