If you actually had genesis in this combo it would be a creature kill even more effective.

My combo sylvan baslilisk+lure is better. He doesn´t die.

Engulfing doesn't die either.
It destroys them before the damage step. You have to declare blockers

It's like Doomblading a creature when it blocks yours.
The creature is blocked but isn't there to do it's damage.

no, it won't... damage step and declaring blockers step are two different steps...

The main reason I use this combo is because it reminds me of/in* the Bible!^^

Also, it's pretty cheap.
