Heres another great creature to combo with the Thornbite staff.  This one even gets rid of those annoying regenerate creatures.  Best part is, after you clear their board, Visara untaps and you can swing for 5.

It's really basic, really any combo with thornbite staff works like this, oh well.

Do you need to tap two for the second ability where the staff untaps your creature?

no you only pay 2 for the damage, it untaps when a creature goes to the graveyard

I know its basic, which is why I like it.  I'm all about simple combos involving two or three cards that win games.  Within the group of people that I play against, you usually don't have time for a 5 or 6 card combo.

No one actually plays those combos, unless that is the entire deck.
