Use Fastbond to play as many lands as you want. Play Lotus Cobra to get 1 mana for every land you play.

First turn, play Fastbond.

Second turn, play Lotus Cobra.

Third Turn, play 3 lands to get 3 mana. Tap 5 lands to play  Akroma, Angel of Wrath.

Please note: this is with an amazing hand.

Just using Lotus Cobra and Fastbond works as well.

BTW, that Lotus is a VERY expensive card! $15.50 as of this post. It IS awesome though!

I wouldn't classify it as a combo, just a pretty damn fast way of getting Akroma out early. Synergy maybe, but not quite a combo.

Yup, Lotus Cobra is so damn expensive but its price is cheap compared to its power... Imagine, getting Lotus Petal everytime you play a land...

Cianidexx what is a combo to you. You cut others down but if you only want a infinite combo then you lose to any rush for 20 damage. Getting 6 mana on turn 3 and a 5/5 down cant be done without cards working in COMBINATION. In other words a combo.  This as a mana accelerator combo with a suggested big spell to make it useful.

Hmmm, What is a combo anyway? In my understanding, combo is short for combination... That means any combination of cards that can achieve something that any of the single card on the combo can't achieve alone... Am I  wrong?

A combo to me is cards doing something that they were intended to do, or branching off something else to do something 'amazing' or ridiculous.

As I said elsewhere, synergy is much more common than anything else.

I really look down upon infinite combos, mainly because I play multiplayer, games can go on for 1-2 hours, but when someone draws their infinite combo the game is suddenly over. Extremely lame and boring. If you're playing certain formats in 1 on 1 games and you include infinite combos, then that's much more reasonable.

Now back to Synergy. I'm not trying to put down anyone here, I'm giving my feedback and opinions. A lot of the posted 'combos' here are nice, however must are just synergy. You are right in some respect, the cards being used in 'combination,' however, we each have our own opinion on actual combos.

Remember, I'm not putting anyone down here, just expressing my views. Maybe I'll be less of a critic and provide tips, or maybe more powerful cards that would work better with some of the posted combs.

So, the only thing that you can think of a combo is the infinite something?

So you consider Sorin Markov's Second ability and Chandra Nalaar's Ultimate ability as a Synergy because it doesn't do any infinite anything?

A critter with power and toughness equal to your life for 1 mana on turn 5. That is a major killer. Add in a cauldron of souls and it gets even better.

Cianadexx, your long explanation stated that there is no such as a "good" combo. You consider infinite combos boring, and you consider other combos as just synergy.

You are supposed to put your opinion on forums, but it does not make sense to write about moot points.
