Play Isochron Scepter removing Angel's Grace. If you would go below 1 life or lose the game, pay 2 mana during your turn to survive.

You can still nuke the Scepter. The other vulnerability is a little harder to explain, and exploit. If you can cause life loss, not damage then you can reduce life to less than 1. Because life being at 0 runs on a static effect, you will lose the game at the end of you turn. You can't act faster than the effect is checked so a the end of your turn if you are at 0 from life loss then you lose the game. Not much causes life loss that you don't do to your self, but it is out there.

I believe you are wrong because you will live if you activate the ability before you go to 0 life. This will let you go to 1 life instead.

What psyche is trying to say is if you go to 0 life as a result of life loss this combo only protects you till end of turn.

The thing to remember is  while damage causes loss of life, loss of life is not damage.  Angel's grace only changes fatal damage to 1.  So if my oppenent is playing this combo and is at 2 life and I play Syphon Life, whichs causes target player to lose 2 life.  he can play angels song to stay alive with 0 life but then once the turn ends, statebased effects are checked, see he's at 0 life and then dies
