Have both cards out, level the purist one time. Then activate the crypt rats once. The 1 damage done will be prevented by the purist. Then activate the crypt rats once. Rinse and repeat, as long as you only activate for one damage each time you and your creatures are invulnerable. The same could not be said of your opponents. Could replace the rats with pestilence, pestilence demon, and pyrohemia but in play testing this seems to work the best. Also allows the cool name.

The Purists are better than I thought. I didn't realize that it also prevented damage to creatures!
