you get a lattice in play and then all lands become artifacts... then you cast splinter on a forest for example and you remove all the cards in the deck with the same name!!   pretty fun to play...  i used to do it on turn 3 hehe

Cool thinking about the fact, that you don't have to play Green for this deck because of Lattice.

combo is pretty funny, had this in my metalworker-staff of domination deck at it's beginning and pulled it at 2nd turn... game over hehe  but that's a very long time ago

turn 1-  mana vault-metalworker

 

turn 2- tap metalworker, get a lot of mana, play staff of domination, untap metalworker then get as much mana you need, draw your deck, play it... it's over anyways but you can play splinter and lattice during this turn so one way or the other, it's a closed curtain...  so with the possibility of 1 land in game, no chance there...

 

since then i replaced 90% of the deck and it's now a painter's grindstone deck with staff and metalworker...

That doesn't have to do with the combo though.
