Yeah, I'd just move it onto a token... Or a creature with toughness.
& Unforge is just a silly card.

yeah he could use unforge in his own go though. That way the equipment cant be moved to another creature (as its a sorcery type abilility to move the equipment) and the equipment isnt likely to have been moved to another creature in his opponents go because its unlikely he'll know that he has unforge in his hand waiting to strike it and the equipment....Haaaaaa!
