you sneak a creature in play... when you get to the end of your turn and you have to sacrifice the creature, you play stifle to counter the triggered ability...

Would you not have to counter that with stifle the moment it is put onto the stack also countering the rest of the effect that sneak attack produces? I think the activated ability is all part of 1 single activated ability. I could be very wrong but I an very interested in finding the answer to this. We shall see when the smarties wake up and start posting. Maybe the tale end of sneak attack is it's own Triggered ability? Some one confirm as this is a cheap way to get any creature into play with no drawbacks.

well sneak attack has 2 abilities... one that is activated (cast the creature and it gets haste...) and the triggered ability that makes you sacrifice it at the end... if im correct, it triggers only at the end of the turn so that's when i usually play the stifle

I'm not a smarty when it comes to every rule to the game. Thats why I would need it confirmed by the smarties. I could take 30 mins of my time and scour the comprehensive rules but I think I will wait. It sounds like it would work but if you assume stuff that just make an asshole of you. If the ending effect is infact it's own triggered ability than It works! which makes it a great combo.

With Protean Hulk, you would want to kill the creature.

eldraziking-sneak attack only has 1 ability an activated one, as part of that abilitys resolution it creates a delayed trigger on the creature put into play.  that delayed trigger goes off at the beginning of the end phase, and since it is still a trigger it can be stifled at that time
