you play channel  (pay life to get mana) then use that mana to play death grasp... you kill a player or at least lower him a lot and you get your life back...

you would need a plain and swamp in play.

lol yeah... i play it in a 3 color deck... i have birds of paradise in it too with a couple dual lands... usually i pull it in turn 3

It works so well with so many cards. Almost as good as Intruder Alarm.

hehe yeah, i have a rat deck (using marrow ...) with a IA combo, and i also use IA un a elf deck with Llanowar Elves and Im perfect... IA  rules
