This combo is ment for affinity artifact creatures and 0 casting artifact creatures throughout the deck. once you have them all in play no matter what is put into play first. Clamp the token draw 2 cards, put a artifact creature into play for more tokens and sac one to the ashnods altar for 2 mana and you can clamp 2 tokens to draw 4 cards. Ends up basically sacing 3 tokens to draw 4 cards.

THE MORE CHAMBERS THE BETTER!!!

Although your intentions were good, you're wrong. Whenever you sacrifice a token you don't get two cards. Why? Because there's a little rule that tells us that tokens cannot exist anywhere else other than the battlefield. So, they never make it to the graveyard for you to make the draw. Sorry.

actually Kenzo your wrong- partially, you are right tokens don't exist in the graveyard, however, they do go to the grave setting off any triggers that look for when a creature is put into it before they are removed as the result of a state based effect,
Skullclamp and more recent Shard cards, deathgreeter, hissing inguar, alge croc(?) work because of this trigger

Gericault is right. This is the only reason my infinite mana combo from the mirodin block ever worked.
EVERYTHING goes to the graveyard with the exception of those that are removed from the game, even tokens. The only thing is as soon as tokens hit the grave they disappear.
If this was not so just think of a token graveyard deck.....(Drooling).....it would be unstopable.

Always assumed that it wouldn't trigger due to the other rule that prevents tokens from existing outside play... But I guess you're right. That makes other combos more interesting. Thanks.

Yup, tokens land in the graveyard before they are removed from game... So skullclamp's ability will be triggered... Also i have the same combo... but mine includes 2 myr retriever + Krark-clan ironworks...
