It would work unreliably to replace the baaz trader, but is worse in many ways.

First, it cost ten mana to make the swap
Second, it actually gives them a chance to prevent the trade altogether
But it does get you one of their creatures. . . Which matters not, because you will win shortly after. . .

I think if you put phage in play w/o casting it its kill you ability goes on stack, targeting you, then even if you respond, after everything resolves, you still die.

If you hardcast phage and donate control is exchanged but he doesn't etb.

Let me know if i'm wrong, or there is a way you are manipulating it that i'm not seeing.

no your right, it doesn't matter if she switches controllers, her comes into play trigger won't occur since she is already in play, which is why avarice totem doesn't work

tested it works just add Doom Blade to this combo and you're set
