No, I belive, when you'll take the land back to your hand you'll need an other target

No it does not work, if you want the specific ruling i can give it later.  But basically, it works just like a spell, since the plotters ability requires a target that target needs to be in play when the ability resolves, if the target has become illegal or no longer in play, the ability can't resolve and fizzles.  so no exchange will happen

yup... i also checked the card ruling in gatherer... same as what gericault said...
