that doesnt work, both deathtouch and lifelink are only activated by combat damage, if the creature isn't dealing the damage through combat its still just a tim.  Look up the errata for deathtouch, a creature blocking or blocked by creature with deathtouch is destroyed if it is dealt combat damage.  If the creature isn't dealing combat damage deathtough doesnt kill the other creature.

Nope lifelink and deathtouch is in fact activated by all damages dealt by the creature...

Let me show you the rule text of lifelink and deathtouch using colorful text...

From the Comprehensive Rules (as of Magic 2010)
702.13. Lifelink
702.13a Lifelink is a static ability. Damage dealt by a source with lifelink causes that source’s controller, or its owner if it has no controller, to gain that much life (in addition to any other results that damage causes). See rule 118.3.
702.13b Multiple instances of lifelink on the same object are redundant.

Rulings:

The ability causes life gain whenever a permanent with lifelink deals any damage, not just combat damage.
The life is gained as a state-based effect.
All older cards with the ability "Whenever this permanent deals damage, you gain that much life." that received errata to change that ability to "lifelink" have reverted to their original wording with the exception of Loxodon Warhammer, which had been printed with the word "lifelink" on its most recent printing in 10th Edition.
Note that the card Spirit Link does not grant the creature it enchants lifelink. The lifelink ability has the creature's controller gain life. Spirit Link has Spirit Link's controller gain life. The same is true for Vampiric Link.

Reminder text

The latest reminder text for Lifelink reads "Damage dealt by this creature also causes you to gain that much life."

702.2. Deathtouch

702.2a. Deathtouch is a static ability.

702.2b. A player assigning combat damage from a creature with deathtouch can divide that damage as he or she chooses among any number of creatures blocking or blocked by it. This is an exception to the procedures described in rules 510.1c-d.

702.2c. A creature that's been dealt damage by a source with deathtouch since the last time state-based actions were checked is destroyed as a state-based action. See rule 704.

702.2d. Multiple instances of deathtouch on the same object are redundant.

Reminder text

As of Magic 2011, the latest reminder text for Deathtouch reads "Any amount of damage this deals to a creature is enough to destroy it."
Rulings

The ability applies any damage dealt to a creature, not just combat damage.
Although many older cards have abilities that are similar to deathtouch, none have exactly this ability.

I hate how pseudo-deathtouch is less powerful now. . .
