How is this helpful though? The second turn, you sacrifice a land and you are left with no mana.

I think the point is to generate enough mana to play both Panoptic Mirror and Crucible of Worlds, and imprint the Mirror with Raze, preventing the opponent from playing single lands. Then with Crucible, you can bring back your Mountain to play things like simple Goblins.

Flaws with that are that both players can still only play one land a turn - just that you can get yours back from the graveyard for a dedicated one mana per turn. Though one could get around this with Azusa, Lost but Seeking or Summer Bloom... essentially anything that can let you play more lands a turn.

It's either that, or they intend to imprint something like Rite of Flame or Seething Song for as much as five or six red mana per upkeep.

its a joke fill up your deck with lighning bolts. your oppenent probobly wont be running a one drop combo. its not really meant as anything save something to giggle at

You could also imprint stone rain or molten rain? Not sure of the name but its a pretty broken card.
