Spend all but 8 life if you want to be extra sure throw in vorrac battlehorns and bonespliter to make sure you blast through turn 1 creature

Nice. Much cheaper (by perspective) and easier than the version with Belbe's Portal and Kozilek.

No, it would only prevent any equips made afterward.
