Play Swamp. Also put out the Lotus Petal.
MANA:
Cast Dark Ritual and, at the same time, exile Elvish Spirit Guide from your hand.
MANA:
Cast Channel the Suns. (I love this card... so much. Even the name is awesome.)
MANA:
Use that to play Maelstrom Archangel. Now sac the Lotus Petal for...
MANA: or
...with which to play Clout of the Dominus. Enchant - and attack with - Maelstrom Archangel and use its ability to cast Emrakul, the Aeons Torn from your hand. Then with your "second turn", attack with Emrakul.

So be honest with me... is this too "out there"?

Out there? Yes. 1 in a Million. Less maybe. Not worth building around.

I know, right? A combo that uses Elvish Spirit Guide... but NOT Channel?!

It's a miracle, simple as that... (⌐ 3⌐)

Elvish Spirit Guide is better than Lotus Petal.

Isn't there a difference between the word play and the word cast. These are 2 different things, right? I don't believe you would get a second turn with Emrakul.

if it says "comes into play" then elvish piper and cards like it work, as well as when it comes under your control. cast means you must have payed its CMC, so it still works with things like prototype portal, cast from your hand means you have to have payed its CMC, and it has to come from your hand, which is why emrakul doesn't have any infinite turn combos with mimic vat. sorry
