once you have the sergeant out, enchant him with the followed footsteps, then during your upkeep your army will double, and repeat it self each upkeep, paradox haze is a suggestion on how to accelerate this ability to a far faster process since on your first turn with him enchanted you will have 6 if my math is correct, etc etc
