The way this works is you can place the Bop on the Soul foundry with the Aphetto and intruder alarm out, at this point you make infinite bops after you produce one with its first use, living lands works well with this as well, but the main reason i prefer this over most other intruder alarms is due to the fact that the foundry can be manipulated if done properly to support any creature to please one's Fancy

the problem in using bird of paradise is the mana, you have to pay to activate soul foundry, its better to use dryad arbor, ornithopther or any creature with cero mana cost.

Unless you had something to give all of your creatures haste, I don't think it would work with BOP. Are you planning on tapping the BOP you make to add a mana for the cost to make another one with soul foundry?? I guess if you had another dork that tapped for one that didn't have summoning sickness, the Intruder Alarm would untap it after each use of the foundry.
Also, a memnite would be best to imprint IMO. You tap the foundry (paying zero) and get a 1/1, which untaps your alphetto guy, letting you do it again. and again. and again. no mana for that one! and you get 1/1's instead of 0/1's!
