Slivers are only fun when they are the only non-land card in the deck.

I love Slivers. They are the reason why my friends spent hundreds on building decks to defeat them. Simply put, outside of mass destruction cards, there is pretty much a sliver for anything. But without those green Gemhides...makes getting the right mana a little more annoying, depending on your manae base.

That being said, I always loved Fungus and Crypt Slivers together. Even when they take lethal damage, they get all the counters and get regenerated. Also, adding Vigor can eliminate the need for Fungus and Crypt in most situations where you're fighing a direct damage or creature deck.

There is a Sliver that pays 2 life to return a Sliver to your hand for Mass Destruction.
