Why can't you just use a Whispersilk Cloak here? Do you really need the Nemesis on defense bad enough to splash a color that doesn't really provide any mill? The cloak provides shroud too, and with 7 toughness you're more likely going to have trouble with removal rather than combat. I don't even think you need to waste a card support him anyways, with 7 toughness. You're wasting a spot to a card that could be used to mill them faster or protect yourself.

take out the white and add in maze of ith. same results without sacrificing the card slots.

Shakii-turbines upset because donnie and ghostfire suggested some changes to his combo, you know, that same thing he does to other peoples combos only without the reasoning why the change would be beneficial

so you tap the nemisis to attack, tap recon. untap the nemisis, and just drop the whispersilk on it to keep it safe? how about something that gives it shroud
