When a creature that has presist dies, it leaves play. Because it leaves play, it is a new perminate so it doesn't have it then. Untapping the cauldron works, or just only using up the creature once per turn. That is 2 mana for 2 cards each turn, and you can give all your creatures presist. It becomes a way to use up the sage each turn, and has a side benefit as well. Still seems small compared wurtnik's idea he got from mine.
