Wouldn't it be better to attach that to a creature who's less likely to be blocked? Something with flying or fear.

I don't think the idea was to equip the sword to Eternal Witness. It was to use the sword to get the Eternal Witness back, letting you play it again. That could get you any card back. A junk creature with the Whispersilk Cloak, or a creature with evasion completes this. The point is that ANY creature with evasion completes this that made him leave it out of the card list.

Maby I'm missing the point, but what does the colors they play matter. The combo is based on the assumption that you hit them regardless. It isn't posted that that is a prerequisite, but it is true. Because of that, you will likely use a equip to become unblockable. So where does the color come into play?
